This is a great case.
Elena Ivanova is a known scammer in Kherson. Nobody knew what her new agency was called. Now we know.
I have info for 2 forms of scamming at realukrainianbrides.com. (Forget
that fact that my Spidey sense tinged the first time I ever saw the
site.)
#1 - flat out stealing. A client sent money ($1850) for a tour to
Kherson to meet the girl he had been talking to a
realukrainianbrdeis.com. The client called the hotel to confirm the
reservation, but there was NO reservation. The agency sent him an
angry, threatening letter because he did this. He canceled his trip The
agency did not refund ANY of his money. He asked for $1400. The agency
told him that they do NOT refund and if he didn't stop bothering them,
they would take him to the higest court in Europe (All BULLSHIT) They
flat-out stole all his money.
#2 - He went to Odessa and the girl he had been talking to in Kherson
took a train to meet him. They had been talking for a long time, but
she nothing nothing about him. She only knew what he had told her
during a few video chats. All the letters seem to have been written by
the office.
So, maybe the girl is innocent and the office wrote the letters without
her knowledge. OR, maybe the girls are part of the scam and go meet the
guy to make the guy happy. We do not know at this point.
Real Ukrainian Brides is BAD news. Here is a letter I got from Elena...
